New Microsoft Remote Desktop Client

Microsoft has released a new version of the Remote Desktop Client that is compatible with some of the new features of Vista. It is available for Windows XP, and 2003.

Does not work with XP Home. The remote machine's monitor turns black when you connect, so if you wanted to guide someone through a particular process, I suggest you use of the two [excellent and free] programmes listed below.

With TightVNC, you can see the desktop of a remote machine and control it with your local mouse and keyboard, just like you would do it sitting in the front of that computer.
